Severe jaundice and respiratory disease leave the twins fighting for life

Having waited for 5 long years to become parents, Vijay and Pooja were looking forward eagerly  to take their babies home. But when the twins were born preterm and admitted in the NICU, their world crashed. They stood helplessly as their daughters were taken away from them and placed in incubators to fight for their lives all by themselves. The babies are suffering from Neonatal Hyperbilirubinemia – a condition that causes severe jaundice in newborn babies – and severe respiratory distress syndrome.
